This year it is a major challenge for NTR Jr. Last year, the young hero slipped a couple of rungs with forgettable films like Naa Alludu and Narasimhudu.

So this year he has to gain back the lost ground.

He is currently acting in Ashok. Directed by Surendhar, who everyone reckons is pretty smart in cobbling together an entertaining script, Ashok is said to have come out very well.

The producer Ramesh has also spent enough to give the movie the right feel.

But it is not as if NTR Jr has dumped all his eggs in Ashok basket. He has a few other options. One of them being a movie with the talented Krishna Vamsi.

Now Krishna Vamsi also endured a bad year. Chakram promised a lot but did not do well.

But Danger won him some pride ad also did okay business at the box office.

Now both NTR Jr and Vamsi may come together. Durga Arts may pit them together in a new film.

Now that would be really interesting.
